Motorcyclist Dies in Accident

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man died in a road traffic collision in Bix, near to Henley-on-Thames.

At around 1pm on Sunday (15/9), a blue Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle and a silver Ford Transit van collided on the A4130.

The motorcycle was travelling from Henley towards Wallingford and the van in the opposite direction.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 49-year-old man, sadly died at the scene.

Investigating officer PC Jim Lovell of the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit based at Three Mile Cross said: “Tragically, a man has died as a result of this collision and his family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

“I am appealing to anybody that witnessed this collision to make contact with police.

“I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who was in the area and may have dash-cam footage of the collision to get in touch.
