Bake Off Star Pops into Henley Optician to Check Out Her New Range of Glasses

Frost Borneo Opticians in Hart Street enjoyed a surprise visit from Great British Bake Off star, Prue Leith last Friday when she visited the practice to check out her Prue by Ronit Fürst eyewear collection before going to talk at the Henley Literary Festival.

This new collection of frames, which Prue Leith launched in collaboration with Ronit Fürst, are original, innovative and a reflection of her love of bright colours. Frost Borneo are Henley on Thames’ exclusive stockist of these beautifully crafted frames designed by Prue and produced by Ronit Fürst to encourage women and men of all ages to enjoy colour.

Prue was spotted having her photograph taken in front of Frost Borneo’s Prue by Ronit Fürst colourful window display, after which she popped into the practice for a chat and photos with optical assistants, Jill Clark and Victoria Trainer. She was also introduced to Neil Frost, one of the partners at Frost Borneo.

Prue said “People spend a fortune on handbags that spend half their life in the wardrobe. It’s far better to invest in glasses that are worn on the face and seen every day!”
