Christmas Love to our Town’s Traffic Lights

A man in a white helmet and a high vis jacket was seen up the ladder at the traffic lights on Duke Street this morning.

He obviously loves the red lights or perhaps it is a Christmas message to bring love to everyone as the red lights now show a heart!

Who is this man?  Perhaps Clive Hemsley who added the lights to Henley bridge is behind this too?

We have contacted Oxfordshire County Council highways to see if  they are responsible for this.

Update 1300 18 December

The lovely red hearts have gone…. humbug!

Martin Crabtree from Oxfordshire County Council advises, “The lights were returned to normal by an engineer attending an unrelated fault.”

However, they didn’t notice the ones at The Angel on the Bridge coming into Henley still have a heart showing….shh, don’t tell anyone!
