Police Want to Speak to Men Caught on CCTV After Large Fight Outside Magoos

Thames Valley Police is releasing CCTV images of a group of men officers would like to speak to following an incident of affray in Henley-on-Thames.

Between 12.50am and 1.15am on Saturday 7 March a number of calls were made to police reporting a large disorder involving a group of around twenty people fighting outside Magoos in Hart Street. It is believed a number of people were assaulted and received minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment.

Following the altercation some members of the group got into a red Mazda RX8 vehicle that was in the Waitrose car park and drove onto Bell Street, mounting the pavement and driving towards pedestrians.

No-one was injured by the vehicle. They left the scene at speed in the direction of Nettlebed.

Investigating officer PC Ruan Brink based at Abingdon police station said: “This is a serious incident that could have caused significant harm.

“I am appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who may have information about this incident, to please come forward. In particular, I believe that some of the offenders got into a grey VW Golf, partial registration plate NA13 ***.
