Vandalism to Cycle Barriers on Marsh Lock Bridge

The barriers recently installed on the Marsh Lock footbridge to slow cyclists down have been vandalised this week.

The photos taken by Paul Cooke show that someone has partially dismantled the chicane barriers and left the bottom fixings in place and thrown all the poles and screws away.  There is a temporary fix in place but due to government coronavirus guidelines a permanent fix probably won’t be done until things go back to normal.

Paul was worried about the bottom fixings being left in place would be a trip hazard particularly in the dark.  These though have now been removed.
