Henley Detachment, Oxfordshire Army Cadet Force was due to join the veteran members of the Royal British Legion, Henley-on-Thames & Peppard Branch, to march through Henley to a special service at St Mary’s Church in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the VE Day, then COVID-19 struck.
Undeterred by cancellations, Henley Army Cadets join Henley RBL to celebrate this significant anniversary of VE Day indoors. In doing so, two 16-year-old senior cadets have made videos. They both have just finished Year 11 at Gillotts secondary school.
