Henley Community Comes Together to Offer Free School Meals

Following the government’s decision not to extend free school lunches during half term, many Henley organisations have stepped up to support local families this week.
Menza Cafe & Bar and Henley Rugby Club Official have joined together to offer free lunches for children who need it. Families can contact Menza Café directly in the morning to order a free takeaway lunch. Please either call them on 01491 577066 or email info@themenza.co.uk. You will need to let them know what school you attend and whether your child receives free school meals.

The Henley Chocolate Café are offering free grab bags for all children entitled to free school meals during half term. Call on 01491 411412 and lunch will be ready for collection from the cafe from 12pm that day.

Henley Lions FC are also providing lunch packages to those who are in need. Please get in touch on nick@firstsoccer.co.uk or 07920 436 944 and they will sort out whatever is needed.

D:two Community Cafe is offering free lunches to all primary aged children during half term, consisting of a sandwich, crisps, small cake and drink. Available whilst stocks last and seating is available.

Spice Merchant are offering lunchboxes containing a Vegetable Biryani, Tarka Daal & a Naan Bread. Suitable for vegetarians, vegans & coeliacs.
Please request a lunchbox in advance by emailing henley@spicemerchantgroup.com. It will be available to takeaway from Spice Merchant between 12- 3pm.
Lindsay Cammish from Boston Mills Bakery is offering a free treat box with local delivery to any family in need. Contact her on bostonmillsbakery@gmail.com
Crockers on Market Place are offering a free lunch bag. Drop a message on Insta or Facebook.  Collection is between 12.30 and 2pm.

Hart Street Tavern and Bottle & Glass free back lunches.  Message on Insta @bottleandglassinn or email info@bottleandglassinn.com to order. Collections Wednesday – Sunday 12:00-17:00
