Jessica Reads 21 books in 21 days in Memory of Her Grandma

Jessica Dingle, (aged 7 years), from Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School has read an incredible 21 books in 21 days in memory of her Grandma, who sadly past away from Covid-19 after contracting it in hospital last year.

The books were mainly Roald Dahl and Jill Murphy, as Jessica loves the Worst Witch. Asked which book was her favourite, Jessica says “it’s too hard to choose, so many incredible stories”.

Grandma Sylvia loved listening to Jessica read so the challenge appeared to be the perfect way to honour her Grandma, Jessica took up the challenge to raise money in the 21st year of Thames Valley Air Ambulance (TVAA). Her Grandma was a nurse and midwife and loved flying. Jessica who also wants to be an Air Ambulance Doctor herself has already raised £280, which will be added to the £480 donated at Sylvia Saints funeral in December 2020.
