Care workers at Henley Manor Care Home in Mill Lane, shared the love this Valentine’s Day by giving out gifts to residents to show how much they care.
Team members at the home gave each resident a small plant in a decorative pot, chocolates and a fresh rose, as well as a personalised card written by team members.
The gifts were distributed by the care team to residents at the residential, dementia and nursing home as an acknowledgement of how much they mean to them this Valentine’s Day and a celebration of how much they care.
The special day was rounded off with a delicious afternoon tea, which included champagne chocolate covered strawberries and homemade cookies as well as a live singer, who performed safely in the garden for the residents.
Lifestyles Team Leader at Henley Manor Care Home, Louise Light, said: “Today has been very special. The residents enjoyed the day with special gifts valentine’s biscuits. There were many smiles and happy faces.”
