60+ Club Back in Business
The 60+ Club are pleased to announced that it is now fully open after over a year of disruption.
Two new job-share Managers Sue and Jill are delighted to welcome members back and to encourage new members to join. Members can enjoy a full programme of activities and events throughout the year which include music, quizzes, art and craft and much more for just £20 per year.
The Club is now open 10am – 4pm, Monday to Friday with new chef Craig serving delicious lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for £6. These need to be booked with a phone call to the Manager on 01491 574718. Or you can just call in for a coffee and a chat Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Handybus is also back in operation and bringing members to the Club and returning them home, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Alison, our chiropodist, is at the Club every other Monday, with special rates for members and Bingo has restarted on a Friday.
Chair of the Trustees, Gill Dodd said, “We are of course aware of Covid restrictions and will be fully compliant with necessary regulations. Our member’s safety is paramount. We are delighted that Windowflowers have kindly donated the tubs to decorate our building for our reopening. Our thanks as ever to our many supporters in the town and in particular to Henley Town Council.”
The Club is still looking to engage the services of a self-employed hairdresser, working just one day a week at the Centre. If anyone is interested, please phone the Club on the above number.
