Situations Vacant at River & Rowing Museum
Welcome to the River & Rowing Museum. It’s great that you’re interested in working with us. We’re confident in the role the museum can play. We want to bring the river to life, to create a powerful sense of place, enhance the wellbeing of our communities and support a more sustainable natural environment. If you want to join us in making all this happen, please read on.
We’ve decided to pull together recruitment for a number of roles into one period this Autumn so candidates can see the range of areas and working hours on offer. The roles have come about through a combination of expansion, reorganisation of roles and colleagues moving on to roles in other museums and galleries. All the roles are permanent, some are full-time and some are part-time.
The available roles are:
Curator
Curatorial Technician
Collections Registrar
Community, Learning and Volunteering Manager
Visitor Operations Manager
Duty Manager
If you’re interested in more than one role, send us one version of your CV, but supporting statements for each of the roles you’re applying for. We’ll be running an assessment day which will consist of some group assessments and some individual assessments tailored to the role you’ve applied for.
