Music Sunday School Returning in October
Henley Music School Sunday is returning and has a new home at Badgemore Primary School starting on 10 October.
The Sunday School takes place once a month and starts at 9.30am and will have a selection of around 3 music activities finishing at 11.30am.
School Principal Laura Reineke said, “In a change to our usual format these sessions will only be for young children between the ages of 5-8 who don’t already learn an instrument, or are beginners. Previously we had over 80 children from over 30 schools coming together – something that we, in the current climate can not proceed with for the moment. All these groups are tutored by highly qualified, professional musicians who are experts in their field. We believe that happy children learn. Music should be fun, fulfilling and enrich lives – so this is what we aim for!”
All tutors are insured, have full DBS checks, and most are first aid trained – most importantly they are all kind, fun and understanding.
The cost for Music School Sunday is just £200 for the whole year.
As with all HMS music provision there are bursaries of up to 100% available, with a very simple application process.
HMS also perform at a number of events throughout the year, from busking in Henley for Christmas Shopping day, Living Advent Calendar, Henley Youth Festival, Santa Fun Run, and their own Gala Concert.

Not forgetting the adults of Henley! Youthful Orchestra, an inclusive orchestra for rusty older musicians. All music arranged for your level, and no audition. If you’d like to come along and have a go, please email henleymusicschool@gmail.com
