Communities on ‘Community’
Housing association Soha, which has homes across Henley and surrounding villages has launched a new arts project today.
It will be running professionally-led free workshops across the county to encourage Soha residents and their neighbours, along with staff and partners, to create on the theme of ‘community’ in poetry, prose or music. Six months of in-person and online sessions with Kevin Campbell of The KCD Collective will culminate in a performance next July to celebrate Soha’s 25th anniversary.
The invitation to get involved with ‘Playing with Words’ is offered in 8 languages to inspire as many people from all cultures and backgrounds as possible to participate. A workshop in Henley is currently planned for 4 December.
