Young Generation to Launch Poppy Appeal
Tomorrow, Saturday, 30 October 2021 at 11:00am in Market Place, for the first time, Henley Army Cadets together with Head Students of Gillotts School will lead the launch of the 2021 Henley-on-Thames Community Poppy Appeal.
Please be there to encourage our young generation who are supporting a vital charity that safeguards the welfare of our Armed Forces community in need.
The Royal British Legion’s aim is to make new generations aware that the Poppy Appeal is here to help recent and current members of the Armed Forces community, it is not just about the World Wars. This help is only made possible because of the support RBL receives from communities like ours. This year is the centenary of RBL and it is inspiring to see our younger generation actively involved.
