SODC Opens Consultation on Revised Henley & Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan

Henley-on-Thames Town Council has submitted a reviewed neighbourhood plan to South Oxfordshire District Council. If adopted, the reviewed plan will replace the Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan adopted on 14 April 2016.

South Oxfordshire District Council are carrying out a consultation on the submitted neighbourhood plan and supporting documents during a seven-week publicity period which runs from Wednesday 26 January 2022 to 11.59pm on Wednesday 16 March 2022.

There are two new housing sites included in the revised plan on land at Highlands Park (110 homes) and the former Chiltern Centre (three), both off Greys Road, Henley.

The new plan includes updated policies requiring housing developments to meet climate and biodiversity requirements.

Most neighbourhood plans are examined without the need for a public hearing. If you think the neighbourhood plan requires a public hearing, you can state this in your comments, but the examiner will make the final decision.
