The Close Residents’ Association which was formed during the pandemic would like to invite residents to their Community Garage Sale, this Saturday 2 April by the green on The Close (off Greys Road).
Sandra Munuera Teruel, Secretary of the Residents’ Association said, “We formed a residents’ association to help and support our neighbours, especially the most vulnerable ones, and it’s been a great success that has enhanced and kept alive the community spirit during hard times. To keep the community engaged, we are organising a Garage Sale selling all sorts of items from houseware, large household items, clothes and accessories, toys and baby stuff and arts and crafts. The idea is that we can contribute to a circular economy, reusing things instead of buying new. We will also have a stall with tea and cake raising funds to support Ukraine refugees. We would love to have people coming along and inspire other communities in Henley to keep their communities active and united, demonstrating the amazing town we all create together.”
The sale is on from 10.00-1.00pm.
