Driver Fined for 28mph Above the Speed Limit

A driver from Henley was fined £1,000 by a court for breaking the speed limit on a single carriageway.

Paul Rosen, aged 65 appeared at Northamptonshire Magistrates’ Court on 12 July. The court found that on 10 November 2021 at 9.26am Mr Rosen drove a Land Rover vehicle along the B645 near Hargrave at 88mph. His speed was 28mph above the speed limit of 60mph.

The court gave Mr Rosen a £1,000 fine and he was also made to pay a victim surcharge of £100, costs of £90 and had six penalty points added to his licence.
