Eight Ray Music Wins Luxury Events Award
Eight Ray Music, a local live events entertainment supplier, has been awarded with this year‘s Bridelux Awards as a result of their contributions to the luxury events industry.
The Bridelux Awards represent the UK‘s most prestigious events industry awards and, as a result, a significant achievement for Eight Ray Music and founder JJ (Jayson Jaurigue). This year, the ceremony took place at the Rosewood London Hotel, with Eight Ray Music supplying live entertainment throughout the evening.
It has been a testing few years for the events industry but JJ believes the hardship to have brought the industry closer, saying: “Huge thanks to the Bridelux team for not just organising a great event but for all the hard they put in to support the growth of the luxury events industry, and to ensure we can all unite and create a culture of supporting each other.
Having spent most of his life in Henley-on-Thames, JJ is no stranger to the local community, often seen performing around local venues like Magoos and Hart Street Tavern before starting Eight Ray Music in 2011. He has since continued supporting the local community through events such as virtual music festival, Henley Lockdown Fest and Apres Ski themed winter festival GLOW Henley.
JJ added, “I want to thank everyone who‘s been with us during the good times, as well as the bad. From organising Henley Lockdown Fest in 2020, to going through a period of uncertainty, to pulling through and having our best summer ever and winning an award for our efforts in the space of 2 years. It has been a testing journey but I‘m so grateful for all those tests who have made us come back stronger. It‘s a testament to the resilience, passion and determination from the Eight Ray team, the events industry, our friends and family and the Henley community whose support has been crucial to our success.“
