Jumble Sale Raises Whopping £1400 for Ukrainian Guests

A jumble sale organised by MotherSisterDaughter initiative who are supporting Ukrainian people living in Henley and the surrounding villages raised a whopping £1400 on Saturday at  Trinity Hall on Harpsden Road.

Visitors could get their hands on some great bargains of clothes, shoes, bags, homeware and toys for just 50p.  There was also a fundraising tombola and raffle.

Gemma Birch, Founder of MotherSisterDaughter said, “The jumble sale was a huge success and we had over 130 people through the door. We are all astonished how much we raised. I am truly grateful to all our wonderful volunteers who have worked tirelessly for weeks to get everything ready for the event, for all those brand new volunteers that rocked up on the day and for all those who attended, spent their hard earned cash and hopefully had a lovely time, thank you, thank you, thank you. There was a fabulous atmosphere in the hall and everyone said what a great event it was and we are now planning our next one!”
