Santa’s Sleigh Sets Off Tomorrow
Santa is bringing joy to the children again this Christmas around Henley and will be setting off tomorrow (Tuesday 6 December).
Organised by Henley Lions, each night Santa on his sleigh sets off on a tour at 6pm and delights the children who see him.
The routes this year will be:
Tuesday 6 December
Northern end of Vicarage Road then up St Marks Road, along Green Lane to Gainsborough, around Gainsborough returning along Green Lane then down St Andrews Road.
Wednesday 7 December
Wilson Avenue, Waterman’s Road, Noble Road, Lawson Road, Reading Road, Marmion Road, Park Road, Harpsden Road, Boston Road and Niagara Road.
Thursday 8 December
Greys Road to The Close, Greys Hill, Deanfield Avenue, Milton Close, Ancastle Green
Sunday 11 December
Blandy and Makins Roads, King James Way and roads off, Top of St Andrews Road to Coldharbour Close
Monday 12 December
Kings Road, York and Clarence Roads, Mount View, Crisp and Clements Roads, Luker Avenue and roads off
Tuesday 13 December
Peppard Lane to Western Road including Cromwell, Belle Vue, Berkshire and Manor Roads
Wednesday 14 December
Damer Gardens, Hamilton Avenue, Upton Close. Queen Street, Friday Street, to Town Centre including Gravel Hill, West Street, Northfield End and New Street.
Thursday 15 December
Elizabeth and Nicholas Roads, Valley Road and roads off and Deanfield Road
