Southern Plant Joins in Jumper Day
Many schools and businesses now join in Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day and this year Southern Plant and Tool Hire took part for the first time at both their Henley and Brackley depots.
As well as wearing festive jumpers they offered their customers hot drinks and mince pies for a donation to Save the Children.
Phoebe Young from Southern Plant said, “We wanted to support the charity, Save the Children this Christmas in anyway we could so we thought what was better than rally the teams and get our Christmas jumpers out for the day! We weren’t expecting huge donations as we are very aware that many are struggling this winter with rising costs of living etc so we asked for small pocket change only on the day and raised a great £60.73! Murray, Robson and I are extremely keen to keep charity support and fundraising going after the loss of our dad so it felt like a great chance to do so!”
