Official Launch of Experience Henley Card

The Experience Henley Card was officially launched at the The Bull on Bell Street on Wednesday evening with guests from local businesses who are offering discounts and savings with the card who were joined by Henley Mayor, Councillor Michelle Thomas and Henley Town Centre Manager, Paul Carey.

The card went live in October 2022 and now has 50 local businesses signed up to offer money-saving discounts.

Philippa Ratcliffe from Experience Henley Card thanked all the businesses for “getting the vibe and understanding this is what we need to do.” She added, “When we were going through Covid, we were all saying we’re all in this together. We’re still in this all together particularly businesses at the moment. This all about supporting each other, promoting each other and spending with each other. We need to keep our local economy going. If we’re all spending with each other we are going to protect ourselves by doing that and we’re also going to have marvellous time doing it. The amount of fabulous offers we have got is phenomenal.”

The membership card which costs £20 and is valid for 12 months offers savings and money off in pubs and restaurants, cafes, delis & food shops, market traders, home & interiors, beauty & wellbeing, clothing, pets, outdoor & leisure experiences, sport & exercise, professional services and even somewhere to stay.

Zoe Ferreira from Henley Larder who is one of the 50 businesses signed up. She said, “I’m really pleased to be part of the wonderful network of Henley businesses you can find on the Experience Henley Card. Being able to have a further reach to new customers and established ones is so important now more than ever and beyond that gives a sense of unity to the predominantly local independent businesses. There are some amazing offers – I’ve got a card myself and started using it already. Come on over to the Henley Larder with your card for 10% off purchases of £30 or more including gift boxes.”
