Amazing Donations from Residents for World Book Day Appeal

Frances Oldershaw who appealed for residents to donate books for her World Book Day Appeal was so grateful for the amazing donations which will be passed on to schools.

Frances said, “A big thank you to all the residents who kindly donated books at the Town Hall last week.  Hundreds of books were received and I’m very grateful. The event has been held for three years now and the Henley residents are making such a success of it which is brilliant.  It’s lovely to see how many different types of story books there are for children and they will be passed on to others to read and enjoy.”
