Henley Outdoor Playscheme (HOPS) will be opening their bookings via their new website on the 1 June and are also delighted to open this year a grant scheme for young people.
The grant scheme is open to children and young people up to the age of 21. Chair David Edwards said, “HOPS is a not-for-profit organisation and we’re financially in a good position so we want to give back to the young people in the community. Each application will be taken on its individual merit and all in confidence. With cost of living rising, we know parents are finding it tough. This might mean that they can’t afford those extras like equipment or uniform for an out-of-school activity, something for a hobby they are passionate about or essentials like expensive textbooks for University. As a Henley institution we want to help our community.”
HOPS will be running from 31 July to 4 August at Trinity School and will have the usual popular activities including laser quest, foam slide, climbing wall, woodworking, cooking and lots more.
To apply for a HOPS grant email firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline for applications is 4 August 2023.
