After a social media poll, the theme for the 30th anniversary of the Henley Youth Festival will be ‘My Favourite Things’ in 2024. The festival have now opened a competition to design the logo for next year.
The first Henley Youth Festival took place in 1994 and now well over 1,500 young people, ranging from 4 to 18 year olds, take part each year in about 35 different events and activities. The Festival itself takes place over a couple of weeks every March and many participants are busy preparing well in advance! The dates for the 2024 Festival are 2-10 March.
Competition entries are invited to include the HYF letters and can be designed on paper or in any digital media. You can be as creative and imaginative as you like. The winner will work with local graphic designer Ben Hargreaves from In8 Creative Design to see their idea come to life; take home a framed print of the final artwork; and receive a trophy at the prizegiving presentation at the 2024 Henley Youth Festival.
The closing date for the competition is Friday 11 August 2023.
