Sea & Royal Marine Cadets Invitation to Open Evening

Henley Sea  & Royal Marine Cadet Unit are inviting young people (aged 10–18) and parents to a FREE open evening at its Training Ship HQ in Henley on Monday 31 July 2023 at 7.30pm.

The open evening will include a tour of the Unit (T.S Guardian), including the boathouse & Royal Marine Cadet barracks, followed by a taster evening encompassing drill, fieldcraft, camouflage, meeting other cadets and a chance to make new friends, as well as learning more about the opportunities the unit has to offer to young people in the area.

They have spaces currently available for

Juniors (Aged 10 -12)
Sea Cadets (Aged 12 – 18)
Royal Marine Cadets (Aged 13 – 18)

They are also inviting enquiries from adults thinking about becoming a cadet instructor (No experience necessary as full training provided)

Henley Sea & Royal Marine Cadets which has a prestigious riverside location, has a long history of providing young people with opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and skills training. The unit offers a range of activities, including seamanship, adventurous training, shooting, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing (all with RYA qualifications), fieldcraft, spring and summer camps as well as international exchanges.
