Half Marathon to Celebrate 40th Anniversary

The Henley Half Marathon is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year on Sunday 8 October!

There’s still time to enter and you can even sign up on the day between 08:30-09:15 at the late entries tent.

The Half Marathon course follows a beautiful scenic route through Henley, over the famous bridge, and along the Thames Valley. It is a very popular event with many repeat entrants, year after year. The course takes runners through the town, over Henley Bridge and into the countryside, returning along the Thames towpath; back through the town centre and out to “Heartbreak Hill” the famous mile long climb seen as a personal challenge by many runners. Following the descent, it’s a lovely flat run back to the Rugby Club.

Runners can also participate in the 10k, 5k and 2k Family Fun Run event – there is something for everyone!All finishers will receive a medal on completing their event.

There will be rolling road closures around the town to make it safe for runners.
