Three recent breakout stars of the Edinburgh Fringe will be heading to Henley in November for the next Honk! comedy night.
Taking place in the wonderful setting of The Relais Henley’s Palm Court, Isabelle Farah, Greg Houston and Rhiannon Shaw are the acts featured on the Wednesday 29 November performance, which follows 10 previous sell-out shows.
Isabelle, called “the next big thing” by the Evening Standard, returns to Honk! with the first preview of her next Edinburgh show outside London. Nobu & Amytis is described as ‘Aladdin meets Blackadder but with more feminism’. Canadian comic Greg – a two-time Ottawa Comedy Awards winner – has performed everywhere from the Camden Fringe to Just For Laughs Toronto. And BBC New Comedy Awards finalist Rhiannon won the prestigious David Nobbs Memorial Trust Award for comedy writing before delighting Edinburgh audiences with her Wedding Night show this summer.
Honk! organiser Tom Ryan said: “The comedy nights have been going so well at The Relais, with a really nice mix in both the audience and among the acts. I loved watching both Isabelle and Rhiannon with their previous shows in London so am excited for Henley to see them in action, as well as getting to see Greg perform live for the first time.”
