Rudolph Klaire Wins Christmas Market Fancy Dress Competition

The Farmers Market went all Christmassy on Saturday morning with all the stallholders dressing up.  Henley Mayor visited the market to judge the annual fancy dress competition and picked Klaire Silver from Witches Kitchen who won a bottle of wine.

Klaire bakes delicious vegan and gluten-free cakes, cookies, flapjacks and brownies in her kitchen in Woodcote.

Klaire said, “To be honest, it was very last minute ….. my thoughts were to find a box, wrap it up and go as a present … however not sure how practical that was going to be while I’m trying to serve cake to customers.  My husband (Andy), unbeknown to me, went to the shops and brought the reindeer outfit … the good thing is I can wear it all the time to stay warm. I was runner up 2 years ago, nothing last year so really happy to win this year 😀 the pressure is on to win again next year.”

Henley Mayor, Councillor Kellie Hinton added, “I was really pleased to judge the Christmas market.  A few people had made a nice effort and it was lovely to see.  We chose the reindeer because she was the cutest and looked the warmest!  A special mention to Chiltern Lamb, I loved their Christmas tree outfit as well.”
