Situation Vacant – Facilities Co-ordinator

  • Location: Lawson Road, Henley On Thames
  • Hours: Minimum 15 to 22.5 hours per week in line with the business needs.
  • Salary: £24661 per annum pro rata

Henley YMCA is a Christian charity providing a range of services for the local community and supported housing tenancies to 31 young people in studio and one-bedroom flats.

We are recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team on a part time basis.

You will be required to undertake a variety of administration and other tasks ranging from assisting in the YMCA office to organising regular maintenance and Health & Safety checks of the entire site, and end of tenancy checks of the housing properties.

In addition, you will be responsible for organising and supervising responsive, preventive and maintenance projects, necessary for the day-to-day upkeep and improvements to the YMCA’s Lawson Road site housing properties and Y-Centre.

To include organising and supervising YMCA cleaning staff and visits to the site by contractors and suppliers.

You will also be supporting other staff to deliver a high-quality Housing and Community services, whilst ensuring the keeping of accurate records using our internal Management Systems.

To excel in this role, you will need experience in dealing with people, and experience and management skills in delivering a cleaning and maintenance service.

As well as excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, question and influence when needed.
