Appeal Following Indecent Exposure

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure incident at around 2.20pm on Wednesday (3/7) when a man exposed himself to a female dog walker in her twenties at Gillotts Field.

He walked towards the victim, exposed himself and then turned and walked away as the victim’s dogs ran towards him.

The offender is described as around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build, with a large, black afro and was wearing a plain, light grey sweatshirt and light grey jogging bottoms.

Investigating officer PC Jacob Masih said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this incident of indecent exposure. Anyone with information can contact police by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240314655. Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”

“All reports of exposure offences are dealt with seriously and robustly by police. If you witnesses an indecent exposure, you should call us immediately on 999. This is a crime in progress and so it is appropriate to use our emergency line.”
