New Trustee to Riverside Counselling Board
Claire Hewitt has been appointed as new Trustee to Riverside Counselling’s Board and brings with her a wealth of experience in marketing and business partnerships. She will be responsible for developing businesses partnerships and nurturing philanthropy donations to the charity.
Claire works at Henley Business School as Director of Partnership Programmes. She is a member of Henley’s Corporate Development leadership team and helps design innovative learning programmes, to achieve client’s strategic goals. She also leads The Henley Partnership, a membership group of companies for which she designs and delivers an annual series of wide-ranging leadership development sessions.
Claire said, “I really value Riverside as the charity supported me when I was making some difficult life choices. I’m now looking forward to giving something back by supporting its future and helping to make the charity more sustainable. I hope to build strong partnerships with businesses in the local community, as well as fostering relationships with individuals who share our values and want to support Riverside through philanthropy and donations.”
Chair of Trustees, Cath McLoughlin said, “We are delighted to welcome Claire to the Board of Trustees. She brings extensive experience in marketing, business development and building successful partnerships, which will be a huge asset to Riverside as we look to grow our connections with local businesses and supporters. Her personal experience of the support Riverside provides also gives her a real understanding of the importance of our work, and we are very much looking forward to working with her.”
