Schools Have Fun on Friday for Children in Need
Children in Henley had fun at school on Friday to raise money for Children in Need.
Most of the schools dressed up for the occasion – at St Mary’s School they dressed up as superheroes, at Trinity and Badgemore Schools they wore their PJs and onesies and at Sacred Heart School the children wore fancy dress or home clothes. Miss Fawcett from Trinity School said, “It’s really weird wearing your PJs to school. The kids are loving it – I hope they don’t too sleepy before the end of the day!”
At Sacred Heart School and Valley Road School they decorated biscuits and cakes to sell which were kindly donated by Tesco in Henley. Ali Simmonds, Tesco’s Community Champion said, “We love to get involved in Children in Need and it was great to see the children having fun.”
