New Henley Photographic Studios Unveiled

Red Fox and Astral Photographics opened their doors to unveil their new studios at Enterprise Park, Henley (off Greys Road) last week when special guests got the chance to have a look around their great new facilities.

Red Fox is a bespoke photographic studio inspiring couples and families to create beautiful photographs that capture life changing moments such as a new baby, your wedding, or the yearly family sessions.

Astral Photographics provides a wide range of business photography services, including product, lifestyle and model photography to property and food photography for clients that include John Lewis, Cara London and Laura Ashley.

As well as the 5,000 sq feet of total studio space, in the Red Fox studio, the new Enchanted Forest was unveiled which is a wonderful woodland set with trees and a pond, a magical backdrop for that special portrait.

David Haines, from The Henley Coaching Partnership who has been mentoring Katy Mealing to grow the business over the last 18 months gave an interactive talk on how to improve your performance year on year through changing your habits, making connections and using your timing productively.  David ended his talk by saying, “Where you start in life is luck, where you finish is up to you.”

Afterwards Katy’s partner James introduced the new Henley Young Photographer of the Year competition which invites young people to take photos using any camera device from a phone to a DSLR.  “We’re very excited about this new competition.  We wanted to put something back into the community.  We hope that it will help the kids get out there being creative, perhaps stopping them taking selfies and instead looking at what’s around them.”  Prizes include cameras, digital frames and Jasper the Red Fox cuddly toy.  The competition is being sponsored by The Head Partnership solicitors, The Artisan Hog Roast company and Henley Town Council. Full details about the competition can be found at www.redfoxhenley.co.uk/henley-s-young-photographer/

Katy said afterwards, “We’d like to thank everyone for coming.  We had a great night and the feedback has been amazing!”
