Lecture: The Message in Maps: What the cartographer is telling us and why.

Henley Society have been fortunate in attracting Nick Millea, to speak about how Henley and its environs have been captured in maps.
Nick is responsible for looking after the Bodleian Libraries’ map collection – one of the world’s principal cartographic collections. With maps ranging from the fourteenth through to the twenty-first century, it contains roughly 1.25 million maps, 20,000 atlases and a rapidly growing digital collection.
