Henley Outdoor Playscheme (HOPS) is celebrating 40 years this summer at Badgemore Primary School and will be opening longer hours (9-3.00pm) from 5-9 August.
For many years the one week holiday scheme has only been open for the morning. New Chair of HOPS David Edwards said, “It made sense that we extend the hours so that they are in line with the school day and for parents who are working around these hours. This year many of the one-off activities will be running throughout the week including the foam cannon slide.”
The cost is £25/day or £100 for the week and activities will include woodworking, art, cookery, laser tag and football coaching plus lots more to be announced shortly. Children are asked to bring a packed lunch plus there will be a tuck shop available each day.
This year, families can book online for the first time and pay by BACS. There are a limited number of spaces so make sure you book early. The minimum age is 6 and maximum 12 at the time of HOPS.
