The Riverside Fiesta the finale to eat! Food Festival is taking place at Mill Meadows this Saturday (29 June) from 11.00-6.00pm with live music, floating gin bar, street food, artisan producers, beer & cocktails and more. Free admission and no jacket required!
You will be able to dine out on food from around the globe from our fantastic food stalls with our full on summer festival vibes. Chill in the park with the grass between your toes whilst drinking in the music, bubbles, sunshine and atmosphere. Don’t miss out on climbing aboard the Mr Hobbs floating gin bar aboard Hobbs of Henley’s fabulous boat Hibernia, which will be moored up at the meadows.
There will be food stalls offering amazing seafood from The Shellfish Cow, steak and loaded fries from The Chipsy, Neplaese curry and momos from The Happy Gurkha, lamb barbecoa tacos from Dosmas Tacos, Saucy Dogs, The Waffle Pod who were a massive hit at The Big Feast on 15 June, Jessecco Prosecco and her pancakes, plus top end fudge, cheese, olive oil, meringues, pies and pastries and more!
Philippa Radcliffe organiser of the eat! Food Festival said, “This event is to celebrate the end of the foodie fortnight. We have a great line up of local acts curated by Peter Moody performing all day on the bandstand to keep everyone toe tapping and in the summer festival mood.”
The programme for the music entertainment is as follows:
11.00am – Louis Rees: Regularly plays piano in restaurants and pubs around Henley and has performed at Henley Festival and BunkFest in Wallingford
12.00pm – Rock Choir: On a mystery tour on Saturday the choir will literally be rocking up to play Riverside Fiesta
1.00pm – Lucy Porada: Lucy is a former winner of Henley’s Got Talent and is an up and coming local singer.
2.00pm – Daisy Willow: Sensational local singer songwriter Daisy has been wowing the local of Henley and surrounding areas for what seems like years. Soon off to spread her wings further afield. So come on down and catch her before she’s gone and you can say ‘I saw her back in the day’.
3.00pm – Matt Richardson Duo: Prolific sportsman and musician. Matt holds World Records in cycling and rowing and fronts the popular covers band Lucky To Be Alive
4.00pm – Felix & Didi: Have been playing music together for a year since winning the inaugural Henley’s Got Talent Show at the Kenton Theatre in 2018.
5.00pm – Tenmoku: A fantastic four piece band overflowing with fantastic original material.
