Henley Society Announces First Talks for 2020

The Henley Society is pleased to announce its first two interesting talks of 2020 and confirms notice of its Annual General Meeting.

Making Henley Carbon Neutral

This talk will be given by Tony Hoskins – Chairman of Henley Town Councils Climate Change Working Group

Tickets priced at £4 for Members of The Henley Society and £6 for non-members and guests will include a drink and nibbles on arrival, and are available on the night at the door.

The work of the Swan Support Charity

This illustrated talk will be given by Wendy Hermon, Treatment and Rescue Coordinator of Swan Support. Wendy has 20 years experience in swan rescue and rehabilitation and will have many stories to tell.

Tickets priced at £4 for Members of The Henley Society and £6 for non-members and guests  will include a drink and nibbles on arrival, and are available on the door on the night.

 AGM

The Henley Society Annual General Meeting will be held in Kings Arm Barn on Friday 3 April at 7pm. Members will have the opportunity to hear about our activities during 2019, be presented with the Society accounts and have an opportunity to elect an Executive Committee for 2020/21.

At the conclusion of the business part of the meeting we will be addressed by Henley’s newly appointed Town Clerk Sheridan Jacklin-Edward who will speak on his Vision for Henley.
