Stonor Park are really pleased to have reopened the gardens and car park at Stonor following the latest Government guidelines on accessing green spaces safely. They are now open from 11am to 5pm Wednesday to Sunday each week.
For those wishing to walk along the public footpath that runs through Stonor Park, or undertake a stretch of the Chiltern Way or Shakespeare Way (both of which are connected to the footpath at Stonor) Stonor’s Car Park offers a great location to base yourself as the footpath is located less than 100 metres away.
Stonor Park has also organised for some great street food vendors to provide takeaways from the car park at Stonor for those dreaming of going to a restaurant. Dough and Deer Pizza will be at Stonor from midday to 5pm this Friday, 29 May, Oink London will be there at the same times on Saturday 30th May serving mouth-watering gourmet burgers and on Sunday 31st may The Barbarian Grill will be cooking up a proper Texas smoked BBQ.
Access to the Gardens and car park is only possible with a pre-booked timed ticket, available from Stonor Park’s ticketing website only – stonor.digitickets.co.uk. You can also book free timed takeaway food collection slots from their website which are required so that Stonor can safely control the numbers of people at Stonor at any one time. No tickets will be available to purchase on site at Stonor. Stonor Park therefore ask that you only travel to Stonor if you have pre-booked a ticket.
Sadly Wonder Woods Adventure Playground, Stonor House, Chapel, Visitor Centre, Chilterns Pit Stop Cafe and The Pantry are currently closed until further notice.
William Stonor said “We are so pleased to be able to partly reopen again and to see the amazing response we have already had. This has been the best spring weather in memory and we are so happy that people will be able to enjoy the gardens which are at their best at this time of year. Irises, alliums, peonies and roses all in bloom at the moment. We also can’t wait for our new Stonor Street Food Takeaway programme which starts this weekend with pizzas, gourmet burgers and a serious bbq all organised. Please can visitors remember that we require everyone to purchase pre-booked tickets on our website for the gardens and car park and to pre-book collection slots for takeaways so that we can safely manage the numbers of people at Stonor. We really look forward to seeing everyone.”
