A group of Henley College Business course students are organising an online charity quiz and raffle in aid of the mental health charity, Young Minds on Tuesday 18 May (9.00-9.45am) and have targeted themselves to raise £100.
YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity committed to the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Driven by their experiences they campaign, research and influence policy and practice.
The group, TeamAlpha is made up of Sami Farooq, Aiden Cameron, Kie Davies, Josh Colverd, Ella Collins and Leah Cooper. Sami said, “We chose Young Minds because of what they represent, what they strive for, their values and beliefs. They believe that no young person should ever feel alone and they offer to provide support when needed.”
The group have managed to get some great raffle prizes including 2 General Admission Tickets to Henley Festival, a sweet/chocolate bouquet, £25 Waterstones voucher and 12 vanilla cupcakes and 10% off a coffee shop for 6 months!
