Beyond the Barricade to Wonderland!
A family show visiting The Kenton Theatre later this month features an original score by Les Miserable star, Connor Jones. The 26-year-old Maidenhead educated writer and performer is currently playing Grantaire in the Cameron Mackintosh’s musical at Sondheim Theatre, London.
The show was originally written in 2016 but has been revived for modernised for a post pandemic production. Connor said, “Technology has progressed so much in 6 years and the sound of the show has done exactly this. I wanted to reorchestrate the music and give the show a new lease of life! I’ve been grabbing every opportunity whilst not performing in London to get my head into writing again”.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is a fast-paced show with lots of audience interaction, colourful animated scenery, bright costumes and memorable music!
Starring Heather Conder as Alice, who performed at Thursford Spectacle in December as featured vocalist, Niall Hemmingway as Mad Hatter, Eleanor Sandars as Queen of Hearts and Jack Frank as White Rabbit.
Performances are at 1pm & 4pm on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 April at The Kenton Theatre.
