Cyclist’s Widow Offering Reward for New Information

Simon Richardson died of catastrophic injuries after crashing into a tree whilst riding his road bike northbound towards Marlow on the A4155 Marlow Road between Swiss Farm and Meadows Farm Studios on Easter Sunday, 4 April 2021.

Simon’s widow is offering a reward of £7,000 to any person who provides evidence that leads to the arrest and criminal conviction after the inquest into his death in March 2022 was inconclusive and recorded a narrative verdict.

She is particularly looking for dashcam footage of a black Toyota Yaris seen overtaking Simon at 14:25 that shows the passenger side wing mirror glass in place on the day of the incident.  It is believed that the car clipped Simon with the passenger side wing mirror  causing the loosely stuck on mirror glass to fall out – as the driver pulled in too soon to avoid an oncoming car.  When the police arrived at the scene, the wing mirror glass was located in the passenger footwell. The driver claimed that the mirror glass had fallen out about a week earlier and wasn’t in place on 4 April.
