Duke Street Road Closure for Water Leak Repair – 1 November

The leak on Duke Street is finally due to be repaired by Thames Water on the evening of Tuesday 1st November. Duke Street will be closed overnight, from approximately 10pm to 6am the following morning (Wednesday 2nd).

The leak on Duke Street was first reported to Thames Water in August, and they have since received many more reports from customers. They stated that the location of the leak has made its repair more difficult, as the closure of Duke Street is required to fix it.

A representative from Thames Water said, “I do apologise that this has taken so long for the team to repair and as advised previously there were permits required due to the busy high street.”
