Get Shopping for Christmas at the Chiltern Centre’s Winter Artisan Fayre
On Friday 4th November, the Chiltern Centre will bring their Big Winter Artisan Fayre to the Menza Cafe (at Henley Rugby Club) from 9.30am – 2.30pm. Each stall is lovingly created or curated by local talents. From ceramics to candles, skin care to jewellery, sweet treats to salads, and so much more in between, it is a fabulous opportunity to get ahead with Christmas shopping or just support the extraordinary talent amongst the local community, as well as a much-loved local charity.
The Chiltern Centre provides specialist care for people with disabilities aged 16-30 with disabilities. The charity needs to raise £200,000 each year to continue offering its short break, leisure and day care services. Events such as the upcoming Fayre are fundamental in fundraising to keep the Chiltern Centre open.
Entry to the Fayre is free and there will be a superb raffle with prizes from each of the stall holders, with all funds raised benefiting the Chiltern Centre.
Harriet Barcella, fundraiser at the Chiltern Centre said, “We are delighted to be bringing back this fabulous event. Last year I was blown away by the quality of the stalls and this year promises to be even bigger than before. We are absolutely thrilled to be supported once again by Philip Booth Esq — their valuable support means that even more funds will go directly to the Centre to help to change the lives of young people with disabilities, and their families. There is also something particularly lovely about being sponsored by such a community focused firm for an event that truly brings together so many elements of our wonderful Henley community. Thank you Philip and Emma.”
Stalls joining the event this year include: BamBamRocks, Debbie Page Ceramics, Hot Creative, Persian Delights by Mali, Mr Hobbs Gin, Lino Lord Press, Sticky Metal Art, Primrose Lady skincare, Nicola Baker bakes, Immie Jones gifts, Joyce Collins Jewellery, Cards from Jan, Velvet and Blooms, and Tropic Skincare.
