Chief Executive of Kenton Theatre Leaves Role

The Kenton Theatre has announced today that Simon Spearing their Chief Executive, has decided to leave the role at the theatre.

Simon joined the theatre in February 2021 having previously worked at the Kings Theatre in Portsmouth, The Camberley Theatre and Conference Centre and the Theatre Royal at Winchester.

Chair of the Board of Trustees, Julie Huntingdon said, “We would like to thank Simon for his work in steering the theatre back into the light, following its closure during Covid. He has brought his professional knowledge to drive the future agenda for the Kenton, and to safeguard it for future generations.  The Board and the staff at the Kenton Theatre wish Simon well and the Board will seek a replacement to continue the development programme of the theatre.”
