Savills Donation to Help Fund Youth Rugby Tour
Henley RFC has received a £1,000 boost following a donation from estate agents Savills.
The property advisors are an elite sponsor of the Hawks for the 2022/23 season and agreed to give a donation to the club every time one of its members used the office in Bell Street to sell or let their home.
Property agents Adam Sayers and Charlie Chavasse from Savills recently visited the club to present commercial manager Alistair Beynon with a cheque for £1,000 which will be used to fund a youth team tour next year for 25 youngsters.
Commenting on the donation Alistair said, “We have a long standing relationship with Savills and are truly grateful for their continued support. We are reliant on the generosity of both our members and sponsors to help keep the rugby club going and we can’t thank them enough for this donation.”
Adam, part of the residential sales team at Savills Henley, added “Henley Rugby Club plays such an important role in the local community and we’re thrilled that we can support their work through our cash back initiative. The scheme has proven to be immensely popular over the years – helping to raise much needed funds which the club has been able to reinvest in its facilities.”
