Paul Announced at New Town Centre Manager

Paul Carey has been announced as the new Town Centre Manager by Henley Town Council and will start at the beginning of January.

Paul has lived in Henley since 2011. He is married to Julia Carey and has three children Phoebe, Charles and Louise who are at St Marys and Trinity Schools.

Previously working at Eight Ray Music and Rewind Festival, Paul was most recently at event payment company TicketCo and container bar hire company Bar-Go.

A fan of live music, cricket and football, he has a Masters degree from Henley Business School with a focus on sustainability in the festival industry and a background in communications and PR. Most notably representing David Bowie, Elton John, Dame Shirley Bassey and The Who.

Paul said, “I really love Henley and think it has so much going for it. I want to make a difference. I love the sense of community in Henley and the people really do make the place. I want to really engage with the retailers, hospitality operators and people that make Henley such a great place to visit and live. I feel Henley has so much unharnessed potential and we could attract more great businesses and increase visitor numbers.”

  1. Peter Dickason says:

The pavements on Meadow Road need the leaves clearing ASAP. I live in Burrow Court and have slipped twice on the accumulation leaves. The piles of leaves are not a great advertisement for Henley as Meadow Road is the usual pedestrians route to the Meadows.
