Fourstate Shop Expanding and Diversifying With Cafe

The eco-friendly store, Fourstate which opened in October 2020, by the original co-partners, Patrick Brown and Robert Kemp, has now expanded its Henley shop next door, into what was the Drfiters Café, and is now providing coffee and cakes to its customers.
Jo Lawrence, one of the partners of Fourstate, said  “Fourstate is taking its eco route in a slightly different route to that of Drifters, and we are passionate about ensuring the products used are sustainable, for example, all coffee cups used are 100% compostable.”
The shop has also expanded into the next-door area that now hosts ‘The Refillery’, an easily accessible space to buy and re-fill a variety of products on sale.  The aim is that customers can also come and enjoy a cup of coffee, and some of the cakes that are on offer.
Jane, a Fourstate customer, said “We made a special trip to come and try the coffee, which is wonderful.” Linda, another customer visiting the store for the first time, added  “the coffee is fabulous with a really good-sized piece of delicious cake.”
Fourstate is open from 09:30 – 17:30, 7 days a week at present, with a view to opening earlier in the future. Jo and her team are looking to expand upstairs in the near future with a seating area and to provide a workspace area, light lunches, and eventually to open in the evening with a bar area.
