Burglary in Greys Road

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a burglary in Greys Road sometime between 6.40pm and 7.30pm on Friday (14/4).

Two offenders broke in and they conducted a messy search and stole a safe containing various items before leaving.

The first offender is described as a white man, aged in his late twenties, roughly 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build and spoke with what sounds like an Irish accent.

He was wearing a bobble hat with a yellow stripe on it, dark gloves, a dark blue/grey coat with a white logo on the chest and arm, dark trousers, which could be jeans, dark trainers with some white detail near the sole. He was also wearing a dark blue facemask.

The second offender is also described as a white male, aged in his late twenties, roughly the same height as the first offender, and had an Irish accent.

He was wearing a distinctive orange/red woolly hat, dark gloves, a mid-blue jacket and dark trousers, which may be jeans too. He was also wearing a similar mask to the first offender.

Investigating officer PC Thomas Pill said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.

“Also, if you have any CCTV footage in the area or any dash-cam footage if you were driving in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
