World Book Day Appeal for Pre-Loved Children’s Books

World Book Day is on Thursday (7 March) and Frances Oldershaw is once again asking Henley residents to donate previously loved children’s books which will be distributed amongst primary schools.

Frances said, “This is the fourth year that the scheme has been running, and it could not be done without the generosity of the Henley Residents.  Last year over 500 books were kindly donated. Learning to read and love books is a special gift for a child which can last a lifetime.”

Please kindly leave your books in the entrance hall of the Town Hall, on Thursday 7 March between 9am and 4pm.
